These products are also used in the manufacture of thermal and acoustic insulation, sandwich panels, prefabricated walls, and both domestic and industrial refrigerators. Other key applications include the footwear and leather goods industry, particularly for shoe soles and synthetic leather. In the medical and hygiene sectors, one of the most important uses is in the production of orthopedic bandages. They are also used in the production of elastomers, industrial adhesives, and laminate adhesives.
