Kangan Petro-Refining

Kangan Petro-Refining Company was designed to recover incoming ethane from Phase 12 of South Pars and was inaugurated and commissioned in February 2021 (Bahman 1399) with the following products. Phase II of the project, aimed at completing the value chain of the company's production, includes: (Olefin Units), (Two Heavy Polyethylene Units), (LLD Unit), (PDH/PP Unit). The Olefin, Heavy Polyethylene, and LLD units are currently under construction and are expected to be commissioned in 2023 (1402). The PDH/PP Unit commenced in July 2021 (Tir 1400) and is currently in the engineering phase.
